Big wide cones of cedar with large scales – from them should be taken seeds for the subsequent cultivation of trees. It is necessary to dry the nutlets taken from cones a little in the sun or in the special grain dryer at constant blowing by air.

Instruction
1. Before landing it is necessary to take seeds of cedar two hours in semi-percentage solution of margantsovokisly potassium, and then to fill in with hot water and to leave for three days, daily changing water. It will protect trees from diseases.
2. Plant cedar seeds at the end of September - the beginning of October, one one or one and a half months prior to frosts. The distance between ranks has to make 10-15 cm. Place nutlets in fertile soil on 3-4 cm in depth. From above soil can be powdered with sawdust or fragmented peat.
3. Tasty pine nuts are pleasant to birds and rodents therefore close landing by branches or fir-tree fir twigs. Besides leaves and coniferous branches will protect the earth from freezing. As soon as snow thaws, pull polyethylene film over "cedar bed" and leave it until trees do not ascend.
4. If it was not succeeded to seed cedar nutlets before approach of winter, since fall prepare them for spring landing. On the high place with the dry soil dig out hole approximately one and a half meters in depth. On bottom put layer of crushed stone and layer of the sand mixed with pine nuts. Cover mix with boards and cover with earth till spring. With approach of heat the seeds should be got and planted on bed in the way described above.
5. As soon as there are cedar shoots, they should be dug out, cut roots, to dive, again to put at distance 20 cm from each other and is abundant to water. Before landing to the earth it is necessary to introduce organic and mineral fertilizers. It is also possible to add the soil or vegetable "laying" from under cedar or pine.
