Cucumbers – useful and thermophilic vegetables. For their cultivation on the personal plot it is the best of all to have the good greenhouse, for example from polycarbonate or glass.
It is the best of all to locate the greenhouse in the solar place, having put it the long party on the West. Thereby the sun evenly will warm up all building entirely during the day.
At the end of February, favorable days for seedling of cucumbers of the house in special tanks that by April they were ready for jumping to the greenhouse come. In March it is possible to nakidat snow in it for moistening of the soil. Then in April to dig over the earth and to bring more humus under cucumbers.
To the greenhouse it is possible to put as the couched plants, and to seed seeds. For the couched cucumbers small openings become, plants fall to them, and are powdered with the earth. Sunflower seeds just go deep on small depth (up to 2 cm) into the earth and is abundant pour down water. Plant plants at distance about 25-30 cm from each other.
Cucumbers very hygrophilous plants also demand daily watering with constant scarification. Before blossoming surely introduce fertilizer. For example, wet nettle in hot water and leave for three days, then water at the roots plants – it will promote improvement of future harvest.
In process of growth it is the best of all to tie up cucumbers in the greenhouse to ceiling. In the greenhouse from polycarbonate there are special crossbeams, to them just and it is possible to tie up vegetables. To avoid barren flower surely daily air the greenhouse from the accumulated condensate on ceiling. There is more: do not allow excessive thickening of cucumbers – it will badly affect on development of vegetables.
Harvesting needs to be made daily, without allowing to grow to cucumbers to the huge sizes. It is the best of all to use small cucumbers of 10-12 cm in food.
After the end of fructification remove all cucumber tops of vegetable from the greenhouse in order to avoid development of various fungal diseases.
