The guaranteed harvest of cucumbers is grown up by the checked ""antiquated"" method. Warm ridges are capable to give the first cucumbers in early terms. In regions with deficiency of heat the best results at cultivation of cucumber turn out only on biofuel.
Cucumber – one of favourite vegetables. Are engaged in its cultivation everywhere: cultivate on fields and in greenhouses of vegetable farms, on ridges of homestead farms, in apartments on windowsill and on the balcony. The cucumber is cultivated in warm areas and in more cool climatic zones. Such the cucumber has become widespread thanks to precocity and productivity.
Cucumber – annual grassy plant of family pumpkin. The homeland of cucumber are humid subtropics for this reason, receiving big crop of cucumbers requires warm and damp microclimate. Cultivation of cucumbers by seedling method not absolutely correct reception. The root of cucumber core, in length can reach 80-100 cm. But bulk is at depth of 20-30 centimeters. Preparation of the soil
Warm ridges are prepared from fresh manure of cattle. Weight is clamped 1.2 meters wide, any length, from 60 cm high. But in each case the sizes can be individual, depending on availability of organic chemistry. Further in process of laying of organic weight, the ridge is stamped and spilled water. Close the prepared ridge film and we wait until then when on inside of film condensate drops appear. The ridge is warmed up to the maximum temperature. In 4-5 days firing temperature goes down, and mushrooms appear. Holes fill with the earth layer 20 cm and plant seeds (on square meter the 4th sunflower seeds) on depth of 3-4 cm, water and close film. The warm hotbed is ready, in process of germination of sprouts, over ridge establish arches. You watch closely air temperature in hotbed and on sunny days open film for airing.
If for any reasons you have no manure, then it is possible to use the compost put from waste of crop production and domestic, food waste. Top layer we stack manure or we water with means for composting acceleration "Baikal EM-1". The size of compost ridge individual with width of 1 meter. On surface we fill prime quality land layer of 20-30 centimeters and we plant germinated seeds or sprouts in peat pots, or in peat tablets.
Forming of cucumber
In process of growth and development of plant start forming of stalk. It is one of the main agrotechnical receptions at cultivation of cucumbers. On each side ridges establish poles 1.5 m high to which attach wire. From the central wire to each back we lower separate twine for podvyazyvaniye of lashes of cucumber. We form plant in one main stalk with side escapes. We remove all escapes and ovaries bosoms of the first four leaves.
