Very useful fruits of feijoa with original taste rather have appeared recently on counters of our shops. Therefore not all know that exotic tree it is possible to grow up houses. Flower growers say that it is necessary to look after it approximately as behind tangerine or lemon.

- - potassium permanganate,
- - soil substrate,
- - sand,
- - watering can,
- - spray.
Instruction
1. For a start get firm fruits of feijoa. Wait couple of days until they become slightly softer, and, having eaten tasty fruit, do not forget to leave part of pulp with seeds. Put pulp in water for three days without effort to separate from it sunflower seeds. Then they should be washed out, dried and to store quietly till February (this optimum time for landing).
2. Before crops future feijoas can be taken in potassium permanganate solution for disinfection. It is necessary to plant seeds in pot of the average size (about 15 cm in the diameter) with opening at the bottom. From above on the soil it is recommended to fill layer of the washed-out and calcinated sand. When young plants become similar to small trees, it is necessary to buy earth substrate for myrtaceous and to place feijoa in separate pots.
3. Feijoa - photophilous plant. Especially bright diffused light is pleasant to it. The pot with tree should be put on windowsill and in midday hours to shade from direct sunshine in the summer. Air temperature in the house is necessary moderated - the feijoa does not love heat. The tree costs is abundant to water, without allowing congestion of excess moisture in pot. In the summer and in the winter (during the good work of heating) the plant should be sprayed.
4. When the feijoa grows to 30 centimeters, it will be required to cut off from it about a third. Otherwise the magnificent fructifying tree will not turn out! It is in addition possible to cut off several side branches.
5. The feijoa quickly grows, and its first three years need to be "moved" annually in new pot of bigger volume. At the same time the tree has a lot of root young growth which should be deleted that the main plant fructified. Root escapes can be put in separate pot – from them trees will turn out too.
