Beet is very tasty and useful root crop. Therefore it can always be seen on country beds. At the same time the gardener wishes not only to receive top yield of beet, but also that root crops were large.

But seeds before landing need to be taken in warm water for 30 minutes. Care for beet
Behind young plants the permanent care is required. It is regularly necessary to water them and also to enter small amount of organic fertilizers and ashes into the soil. Such fertilizing needs to be done 2 times a month. For receiving large root crops, it is necessary to watch that nothing hampered their growth also. If near beet weeds begin to appear, then they will be required to be moved away at once. Besides, it is necessary to break off the lower leaves at beet, they can be used then as forage for animals. To receive good harvest it is necessary for landing of beet to choose not darkened places. Best of all it grows on loamy, sandy and chernozem soils. It is recommended to sow it where earlier tomatoes or cucumbers grew. It is impossible to carry out landing of beet on the same place where it was grown up last year. For increase in the size of root crops it is possible to use bird's dung and the talker of mullein as fertilizing. When beet has diameter of 3 cm, make thinning that between plants there was distance equal of 8-10 cm.
