The lily of the valley – modest plant with gentle white hand bells - enjoys wide popularity and love. Distinguish forest and garden lilies of the valley. 1. Remember that warmly and moisture – the main conditions for successful blossoming of lilies of the valley in the room. This plant does not form new roots, it absorbs moisture old. All nutrients necessary for formation of leaves and flowers collect in rhizomes.
2. For cultivation of the house dig out rhizomes in garden or buy in the market in October or the beginning of November. Put to the earth on the same day. Use the fresh friable earth mixed with clean sand. Cut off roots before landing, having left about 8 centimeters. In long pot it is possible to put from 8 to 10 roots.
3. Fill a little earth on pot bottom, slightly stamp it. Then take hand several rhizomes, level them on tops. Lower roots in pot so that their tops slightly towered over its edge, and fill lands. You watch that kidneys remained above the ground, stamp the earth rather densely. Well water rhizomes.
4. Put pot with lilies of the valley in the high box filled with moss, from above too cover with moss. It is abundant water from watering can with the diffuser warm water. It will help to keep damp ""climate"". Close box glass and put to the warm place.
5. Water plants every day in the mornings and to evenings with warm water. After each watering carefully wipe glasses. Remove glass from box only when sprouts concern it. 6. You keep the blossoming lilies of the valley in the cool place. So you prolong their blossoming.
7. In garden put lilies of the valley in the shady place. Put them in August or September. Rhizomes can be cut so that on each part there was about one kidney. Land at distance 15 cm from each other. During increment of rhizomes cover them with moss, leaves, creating temperature + 20... + 23. Also regularly water. After sprouts grow up and will get stronger, it is possible not to cover.
