Mint – unique plant. It at the same time is both medicine, and fragrant spice and culinary seasoning. Unpretentious in leaving and undemanding to growth conditions, mint easily takes root in house conditions and successfully grows on the balconies and windowsills.
1. The easiest way to grow up mint on windowsill is kornevishchny cherenkovaniye. Shanks almost all types of mint, except for marsh and water give in to reproduction. The most favorable time for preparation of shanks the fall when the plant is prepared for wintering is considered and finishes the vegetation period. So, the most favorable temperature range 20-25os is considered. In winter time when daylight hours short and the plant has no additional lighting, the sprouts can be weak and strongly extended. 4. Seeds sow in small grooves, no more than 5-6 mm in depth, from above slightly powder with the earth. Shoots appear approximately in 2-3 weeks. In winter time the additional lighting can be necessary for sprouts, but at the same time lamps of illumination it is impossible to dispose too close to shoots since weak plants can get severe burns.
5. Basic care at stage of growth of the sprouted seeds comes down to timely watering and application of fertilizers. After mint grows to 10-15 cm, the intensity of leaving can be reduced.
