Morels – mushrooms unpretentious, and many consider them inedible though in some countries, in particular in France, morels – delicacy. In Russia from huge number of species of morels use only five. From them only three views cultivate in gribovodstvo.
The most optimal variant of cultivation of morels in house conditions is their cultivation in the greenhouse. On the balcony where acreage are very limited, it is unprofitable to grow up morels. For successful cultivation of mushrooms in the greenhouse it is necessary to perform in it preparatory work. For a start form beds, removing top soil. The removed soil is replaced with the prepared vegetable mix. Mix is made as follows: add three volumes of sawdust and one volume of ashes to 6 volumes of the garden earth. All carefully mix and fill up on beds with layer not less than 10 cm. It is good to spill the soil.
In the nature the morels, as well as all mushrooms, breed disputes. In house case of gribovodstvo apply reproduction method mycelium. To achieve good harvest, it is better to get mycelium from reliable suppliers.
Cultivation of mushrooms mycelium
The mycelium is distributed evenly on all bed and filled up with layer of the earth removed when forming bed. The layer has to be not less than six centimeters. On beds there has to be good drainage which is equipped with row-spacings. The drainage will help to avoid such unpleasant phenomenon as stagnation of water on beds. On condition of cultivation of morels in the greenhouse to cover beds with straw or other materials there is no need. During the winter period it is enough to reduce heating temperature, it will prevent shift of the vegetative period of morels. In the spring when subzero temperatures of air are already excluded, and the sun will begin to shine brightly, it is possible to begin fertilizing of mycelium. Ready complex EM1 Baikal fertilizer best of all will be suitable for this purpose. As soon as there are first arisen morels, glasses of the greenhouse need to be shaded not to allow hit of beams of the sun on mushrooms. When mushrooms already go to growth, the greenhouse should be opened to provide access of fresh air. Morels love fertile soil, heat, light and humidity.
Harvest
The harvest of morels can be reaped when they reach 7-10 cm of growth. Fructification occurs in year after disembarkation of mycelium. Morels - very fragile mushrooms therefore to keep their presentation, it is necessary to cut off with all precautions. On the landed mycelium the mushrooms will grow up to five years, then the mycelium and the soil should be replaced because of their exhaustion.
