1. Practically each species of passionflowers loves light. This plant prefers to grow at windows which come to the South, East and West side. They can be grown up at windows where there is some shadowing. For growth it will not play great value. It can affect only on blossoming. It will be less active. It is necessary to support temperature condition. The plant loves high temperature. If you have decided to leave passionflower in hot day in the room, surely provide it air flow. The plant should not be under the influence of drafts. Otherwise it can dump foliage.
2. Take care of good lighting. If the passionflower is at the southern window, it will become covered by flowers and buds. However in hot days after all it is necessary to make some shadowing. If the flower grows at northern window, blossoming will be poor. The flower at east or western window where there is no shadowing by trees is the best of all to arrange. The passionflower differs in the unpretentiousness, the main condition – good illumination.
3. Special attention needs to be paid to temperature. Best of all be suitable for plant temperature from 18 to 24 °C. If the room too warm, leaves turn yellow and dry. Also there will be no many buds and flowers. In the fall the passionflower needs more cool room in which temperature from 13 to 16 °C. If there is no opportunity to arrange passionflower in the cool place, it is the best of all to grow up it as annual plant. The passionflower which long time is in the warm room with heating system can go bald, lose leaves and even to die. This plant can easily transfer temperature about 0 °C.
4. The plant needs to be sprayed regularity in the spring and in the summer. It is necessary to do it when on it sunshine get. It is necessary to make spraying extremely seldom in the winter. If indoors in the winter high temperature and dry air, spraying it has to be made all the year round.
