This plant belongs to family of strastotsvetny. The homeland of passionflower it is considered to be Asia, Australia, the island of Madagascar and South America. The plant has large flowers, surprising in form, and represents one of the few tropical lianas which can be grown up in house conditions.

  • - plant seeds;
  • - substrate for landing;
  • - polyethylene film (glass);
  • - capacity;
  • - hydrogen peroxide.

Instruction

1. Buy plant seeds in specialized shop. That the passionflower well was accepted, consider some subtleties at their processing.

2. Fill in seeds with pure small amount. Day when they emerge on surface, later capacity well shake. Leave them in water for 15-20 hours. Thus the seed cover will independently separate. Remove it.

3. In small glass pour weak solution of hydrogen peroxide. For this purpose part it in the ratio 1:2 with clear water. Lower seeds of passionflower in solution and cover. Remove capacity to the warm and dark place. In 1-2 weeks they are ready to landing.

4. Accurately take the sprouted seeds from hydrogen peroxide solution. For convenience use tweezers.

5. Prepare substrate for landing of seeds. You can buy it in shop or cultivate the normal land independently. For this purpose it needs to be calcinated in well heated-up oven (200-220 degrees) within 10-12 minutes (layer – 1-1.5 cm).

6. Plant seeds on depth of 1-1.5 cm, slightly powdering with the earth. After that it is abundant water substrate. Cover capacity with polyethylene film or glass. Remove seeds to the warm place, observing optimum temperature condition – 20-25 degrees. Do not forget to air daily seeds, removing film for 15-20 minutes.

7. At emergence of the first shoots remove polyethylene film (glass) from capacity. As a rule, it occurs in 30-40 days.

8. Determine capacity with shoots to the light, well aired room. If necessary take care of additional lighting.

9. Care for young plant consists in regular watering and periodic fertilizing by mineral and organic fertilizers (once a week).

10. Replace young plant annually, more adult – 1 time in 2-3 years. Use for this purpose nutritious friable mix which includes sand, peat, humus, the cespitose and sheet earth in equal proportions.
