Pineapple represents perennial fruit plant which belongs to family of pineappele family. Semi-droughty areas in the northeast of Brazil, South America, Paraguay and Guiana are considered as its homeland. Pineapple can be grown up in house conditions, using the socket of leaves as planting stock. Surprise the family with such exotic gift which is grown up by own hands.

Instruction
1. First of all choose suitable ripe pineapple, the peel of fruit has to have golden-yellow color, not green and not brown, without dents and traces of decay. Leaves have to be green and firm, healthy (without dark and yellow stains). Best of all buy two pineapples at once, it will give you more chances for cultivation of exotic in room conditions.
2. Take sharp knife and cut pineapple, leave only the socket of leaves. Completely clean off pulp for the purpose of prevention of rotting after landing. Then accurately cut off the bottom of krone before emergence of circles or points on stalk surface, try not to damage rudiments of roots. Suspend this part and leave for the night that it could dry up a little.
3. Remove several lower leaves, having bared thereby two-three centimeters of trunk of top. At the basis it is possible to notice small brown backs, they will not grow, but nevertheless be careful, do not damage them.
4. The easiest and reliable way of prorashchivaniye of roots is to lower trunk by three centimeters in the dark glass container with the settled water. You hold vessel far from heating appliances and drafts, avoid sharp temperature drops. Every two days change water for fresh.
5. After the socket of pineapple has released strong backs, it is possible to start jumping to the earth. As soil mix quickly trained soil perfectly will be suitable (ready mixes for cacti or pineappele family). It is possible to prepare substrate independently, it has to consist of one part of peat, two parts of humus and one part of sand with sour reaction of the environment.
6. Diameter of pot has to correspond to diameter of krone of top (about fifteen centimeters). Check availability of drainage holes at the bottom of pot if those are absent – do independently by means of heated pricker. Lay haydite layer (two-three centimeters) on bottom of pot and fill with soil mix. Land pineapple top, water and put on the light place.
7. You watch that the earth was in damp state (but not wet), water with lukewarm water. Later few months, pineapple has to take roots strongly. Delete the dried-up leaves new will grow in the middle of the socket. Once a year replace plant in pot of slightly large diameter.
