Plum belongs to those plants which please the gardener two times a year: in the spring you will be able to admire its blossoming, and in the summer or in early autumn to pick large and juicy berries. Some grades begin to fructify for fourth or fifth after landing. The easiest way to get plum on the site is to plant the imparted two-year saplings in soil.

- - dolomite powder;
- - ammonium nitrate;
- - manure;
- - insecticides.
Instruction
1. Prepare the site for landing of plum. In midland it is the best of all to plant the two-year imparted saplings in soil in the early spring. Pick up well lit site with the damp, but not boggy loamy soil. Plum can be planted along fence, but it is obligatory from sunny side.
2. In two weeks prior to landing prepare landing holes depth of half-meter and with a diameter of sixty – seventy centimeters. The distance between holes has to be not less than two and a half meters. Mix the earth which is taken out from hole with humus bucket. To the sour soil add half a kilo of dolomite powder or any other means for soil raskisleniye.
3. For disembarkation of plum in soil create cone from mix of the soil and humus in landing hole. Distribute sapling roots on surface of this cone and powder them with the earth so that the root neck was four centimeters higher than soil level. After watering, soil will accumulate, and the plant will not be excessively buried. Make the roller of the earth around landing hole and water saplings. You will need two buckets of water on one plant. Powder the soil after watering with peat or sawdust.
4. In the first several years grows therefore it is necessary to delete green young growth from shtamb and radical young growth, at least, five times during the summer.
5. For fertilizing of plum bring in the soil ammonium nitrate or urea at the rate of ten grams of mineral fertilizer on square meter of the soil in the early spring. In June the draining should feed up organic fertilizers. For this purpose part one part of fresh manure with ten parts of water and dig out superficial groove around tree. The groove diameter has to correspond to diameter of krone of plum. Introduce the divorced fertilizer in groove and powder with the soil.
6. The main enemies of plum are the plum fir seed moth and sawfly. To get rid of these wreckers, the plant is sprayed with insecticides at the end of May and a month before harvesting. These medicines are toxic for the person therefore before their application it is necessary to study the instruction and not to neglect personal protection equipment. In other words, you make spraying in respirator, rubber gloves and protective clothing with long sleeves.
