1. Potatoes – plant photophilous. Do not put it on the shaded sites. It considerably will lower harvest. By the way, it is necessary to take care of it in the fall. Sow the site which you are going to allocate under potatoes winter rye. In the spring you receive excellent green fertilizer. Besides the rye loosens with roots the earth that promotes reduction of number of wreckers.
2. Take care also of seed potatoes. Choose the healthy intact tubers, it is desirable high-yielding grade. Wash up them, dry. Remove on storage in cellar.
3. Begin to cook potatoes for landing at the end of March. It is the best of all to use the whole, but not too large tubers. Spread out them in egg grids. Make stack of approximately meter height. This work can be done with success, for example, on summer verandah or the glazed loggia of the city apartment. At cold snap of grid cover. In April slightly spray tubers with water. By the time of landing potatoes have to sprout. There will be small backs and strong green boring. From such tubers the shoots appear much earlier.
4. Dig out the site, create beds 6 m long, 1 m wide. Distance between them – 35 cm. On each bed make on two furrows in 30 cm from each other. Depth of each 15 cm. Tubers keep within the earth with interval of 30 cm. Under everyone ashes and on handful of the "Potato Kemira" fertilizer are brought. Fill up furrows and cover them with film. In 2-3 weeks remove film, and hill the sprouted potato bushes, and, literally "with head". It will save them from possible frosts. Just in case, it is possible to cover with film again.
5. In the heated-up soil potatoes quickly develop and blossom at the end of June. 2 weeks later it is possible to undermine the first young tubers already. At such cultivation the harvest reaches 1.3 kg from each bush that makes about 530 kg from one hundred part.
