Historically the canopy was necessary as protection against drafts and inquisitive glances. On special eaves or columns fabric which was richly draped was suspended and served as additional ornament. Now the canopy executes only the last function. Its leading role in modern interior – unusual decoration of the bedroom. By means of canopy it is possible to give any color to the most intimate room in the house.

Instruction
1. Choose fabric. Depending on its look you will select type of fastening of canopy. Than fabric is heavier, especially massive and strong has to be framework fixture for it. Most often for production of canopies the fabrics partners close on coloring of fabric of which other textile elements of the bedroom are made are chosen: cover, curtains, throw pillows.
2. The easiest way to fix canopy – to buy special eaves. In shops, ready models which fasten directly to ceiling are on sale. Depending on model you can choose both single-row, and two-row eaves.
3. Placement of your bed will be reference point for installation of canopy. Remember that, having hung up canopy, you will not be able to rearrange easily any more bed where it will want to you. By means of construction level make on tag ceiling, the beds corresponding to edges.
4. Remove bed that it did not prevent further works. On ceiling between side tags find the middle and draw from it line, perpendicular to wall.
5. On semicircular eaves note the middle and combine it with the central tag on ceiling. Shift canopy to wall along the central line that the ends of eaves have been densely driven into the corner.
6. At this stage you need the assistant. One person has to hold not movably eaves, and the second pencil has to mark at this time places of fastening. Postpone eaves.
7. If you want on canopy the fixed lambrequin to have been used, paste tape velcro to its outer end. The soft lambrequin can be hung up on external track of eaves.
8. Make by means of opening drill in ceiling and densely insert into them dowels. Holding eaves, attach it to ceiling by means of self-tapping screws.
9. Depending on model of canopy and, if necessary, on each side screw in beds in wall holders for pickups. Use for this purpose drill. Dowels of the corresponding size usually are included in fixture package for holders.
10. Hang ready curtains on hooks, and attach lambrequin to tape of velcro. Establish into place bed, straighten canopy bed curtains, fill the ends of bed curtains in pickups.
