Stretch ceilings gain ground today. Thanks to variety of colors and textures, they can diversify considerably interior, give it special mood. However at installation often arises problems with how it is correct to hang up chandelier on stretch ceiling not to damage fabric of the tense panel and not to do harm to the lamp.
Instruction
1. It is possible to strengthen chandelier on stretch ceiling in two main ways: to fix chandelier to ceiling by means of screws or bolts or to suspend it on special hook. But in each case it is previously necessary to establish the so-called mortgage – the wooden bar attached to the main ceiling behind tension. The mortgage is screwed on ceiling by means of dowels.
2. The chandelier is fixed in the first case on the mortgage by bolts. In tension cloth the opening which edges are glued with adhesive tape becomes. Then the glued cloth is fixed by self-tapping screws around chandelier.
3. If fastening of chandelier provides use of suspended hook, then it is twisted in the wooden bar fixed on the main ceiling (mortgage). Then in cloth the opening for hook which after installation of the lamp is closed at the expense of his cap becomes.
4. For more reliable fastening of chandelier on stretch ceiling it is possible to use strengthening plastic ring. Its minimum thickness has to exceed 5 mm., and diameter depends the chandelier cup size. The ring is pasted by any glue which part cyanoacrylate is ("Super-moment", "SuperAttack", etc.). Glue is applied with solid line, then the ring is densely put to stretch ceiling. After full drying of glue, fine edge cut out cloth on the inside diameter of ring and in the formed opening extend the wire going from the main ceiling. The wire is connected to chandelier, and then hang up it on the acting hook.
