Preparatory stage
Before starting installation of LED tape, it is necessary to develop the project of its connection taking into account the sizes of the room, its form and type of the connected equipment. The buyer should decide only on length of LED tape, and for this purpose it is necessary to measure room perimeter. All the rest (power supply unit, type of tape and mounting mode) is already defined in advance.
If such sets do not suit you, then at the independent choice of spare parts consider the following factors.1. For determination of power of power supply unit find out length of tape necessary for you and increase this value by the power of running meter.2. The power supply unit size most often depends on its power therefore if you have to connect several tapes, it is better to provide the separate block for each device.3. For installation of house lighting use parallel connection.4. Pay attention to type of ceiling covering. For example, the glossy surface "is more whimsical", it will be more difficult to hide power supply unit and the place of fastening of tape on such ceiling.
Mounting process
How mounting is carried out? Previously prepare ceiling or other surface for mounting of tape: clean covering from dirt and degrease (for this purpose it is possible to use technical alcohol). As a rule, the LED tape is delivered complete with the instruction which is in detail describing process of connection of the device with the controller or the light dimmer. Attach tape to the controller and power supply unit, strictly observing polarity of connection. After that start mounting of the device. The LED tape from the fixing party is covered with special sticky layer which is hidden under protecting cover. Remove covering and attach the film the sticky party to the place of fastening, having slightly pressed it to the prepared surface. In this way it is necessary to walk on all planned perimeter. If you mount tape on metal surface, it is necessary to take care of electric insulation laying which in this case should be established under tape.
