First of all, for rooting of violets it is the best of all to use small pots – glasses. If there are no special small pots for seedling with the taking-out collum near at hand, any suitable tanks quite will approach. It is possible to use even glasses from under yogurt, previously having made in them openings for drainage. However nevertheless it is more preferable that tanks were ceramic.
3. Substrate for rooting of violets is done of peat mix with bank sand, adding to it small amount of fertile soil. It is possible to use also chopped peat dust which is on sale in flower shops. But anyway, the kidney should not be too rich and fertile. Substrate before landing of shanks has to be well moistened.
4. For landing take only old, mature leaves, rather strong to postpone all procedure. Young leaflets do not suit for landing absolutely. The suitable leaf can be broken off just accurately from the fialochny socket, and then to cut slightly to length of 3-4 cm. The cut of shank has to be made on slanting to provide wider area for absorption of useful substances.
5. It is possible to implant saplings as directly in soil, and in the distilled or well otstoyanny water. If the leaf is implanted in water, it is necessary to take care that liquid did not concern the leaf, and covered only shank no more than on 1 cm. It is necessary to add one tablet of activated carbon to water to avoid rotting of water and to save plant from bacteria. Capacity has to be the opaque glass which is doing not pass sunshine. In process of evaporation, water is added, from time to time replacing completely with fresh.
6. When rooting in soil the leaf is just put on edge of pot that the shank slightly concerned the soil. Then it is a little utaplivat in soil weak pressing of finger and slightly powdered with the earth. Among flower growers there is old observation that the less depth of landing of shank, rather it will flush. If change is made in cold season, the plant needs to be covered with plastic bag to create the atmosphere of hotbed and to protect it from drafts. In the summer in it there is no need. The pot with violaceous layer is put to the light place, but by no means, not under direct beams of the sun.
