In some apartments of old construction, for example, in so-called "five-storey apartment blocks", there is one, and even several small rooms. It is physically impossible to increase space of such closet. But it is worth trying to make it at least visually, to turn the inconvenient placement to rather comfortable and nice bedroom or study.
Instruction
1. Try to provide the increased inflow of light to the room. If windows of the room come to North side, except the top chandelier, there will be useful dot lamps, wall sconces or floor floor lamps.
2. Availability of big mirrors will allow to increase even more room illumination and also to move apart borders of the close room.
3. Wall-paper in such room has to be the lightest – white or gentle pastel tones.
4. The ceiling and floor in the small room also make out in light gamma. At the expense of it the feeling of narrowness decreases, and the space visually increases.
5. Do not veil window heavy curtains. Here air tulle curtains or light blinds will be more appropriate.
6. Pay attention to furniture. In the small room of furnishings has to be at least. Even if you use the room as the bedroom, the double bed "will eat" all space. Folding sofa or children's bunk bed – maximum that can be contained to the room baby.
7. If you have decided to equip office here, then take care of that on your work table the ideal order reigned. The heap of papers or the computer equipment will make impression that all room is cluttered up.
8. Do not put massive cabinets in the small room, there will be quite enough easy hinged shelves. Try that at least one wall was free. As a last resort decorate it with photos within or the wall calendar.
