It is better to trust installation of interroom doors to experts, and here you can cut the door lock already independently. Read attentively the instruction for installation of the door lock, count about 95-100 cm from floor, arm with the necessary tool and start performance of objective.
Instruction
1. On outer doors scarves are put. Fix them on inside of door cloth by means of screws. Chisel and drill make in cloth opening for lock rod. The following that you need to make is to make the slot for plate of the locking body in door case. The latch will enter this slot then.
2. Further apply the lock to the designated place, note arrangement of front its level at face of door cloth. Chisel do deepening for level. Again apply the lock and put marks for screws. You watch that the level did not support door face limits. Now fix the lock, cover door and make marks for arrangement of locking box. Attach box by means of screws.
3. Box locks are put on interroom doors together with the handle in which there is opening for key. You need to cut the lock in binding face. Cutting the lock in framed cloth, do not establish it opposite to average bar of jamb not to loosen "spiked" connection of door.
4. Note the place for insert of the lock. Apply it face to binding, circle its contours. Mark with pricker keyhole. Now note lock thickness on binding on its side axis. From face of door drill on opening contour. Their depth has to be to the corresponding length of the lock. Make wood dredging on lock contour. Again apply the lock to door and circle contour of its edge part. Make the deepening allowing to arrange the lock at the same level as doorframe. Cover door and define the place for installation of level. Make dredging for level, bolt or latch.
5. Finally, I will give to you one advice: if you want door handles to work silently and softly, grease properly latches with vaseline or oil. That's all knowledge.
