1. Begin installation of the new equipment with its physical connection to the computer. Previously power off. The exception makes the equipment in which the USB interface is used, it is connected at the switched-on computer. If it is necessary to insert the device in the system unit, the computer has to be deenergized.
2. Having connected the device to the computer, install the drivers necessary for its work. In the Windows 7 operating system the system in most cases automatically selects and installs the most suitable driver.
3. Load system with the connected new equipment. In the field of notices you will see the message about the beginning of installation of the driver. For the equipment with the USB interface such message will appear at connection of the device to the computer.
4. Wait until the operating system, having found the new device, automatically starts search of the necessary driver in the database or on the appropriate network resource. Having found several versions of the driver, Windows will choose and will establish the most suitable of them. The system will inform you on the end of process of installation by means of the message in the field of notices.
5. If automatic installation of the driver for some reason was not successful, try to carry out repeated installation or to update the driver (connection to the Internet for this purpose will be required).
6. If at you the disk with the driver which is applied to some devices is available insert it into the corresponding drive. As a rule, the setup will be started automatically, from you it will be required to follow the instructions appearing on the screen only. If the disk was not started automatically, find on it the setup (it can be called, for example, Setup.exe).
7. In the absence of disk download the driver from the website of the producer of the device. If it is in archive, unpack it and start the setup. After successful installation of the driver the new equipment can be considered as established and is prepared for use.
