Forming of each historical style is caused by influence of culture, life and events of certain time. It does each style original, original and self-sufficient. Among set of historical styles the medieval style is of special interest as it differs in brightness, depth and versatility. In general the medieval style is most brightly provided by two currents – Romance and Gothic.
The Middle Ages are the long period of history during which art and culture violently developed. Many talented masters have created huge number of masterpieces of painting and sculpture that could not but leave mark on style with which it is madly interesting to designers to work today.
The medieval style differs in internal furniture of which some features are characteristic.
The Romanesque style does not differ in magnificent decor – generally this panel, lanes, fabric drapery and it is a little furniture. It is possible to call Romanesque style harmonious combination of tree, stone, metal and matter.
The Romanesque style in the 12th century was succeeded by Gothic style. Cathedrals with pointed arches of windows, high spires and multi-colored stained-glass windows have become fashionable. Invariable was only stone used as parent material for construction. But on stone patterns and carved elements began to appear. The interior finish became brighter, in it violet, blue, black, purple and ochry shades have begun to appear.

For registration of floor it is possible to choose natural stone or large tile from ceramics. At rooms there can be shod parts – chandeliers, handrail, lamps. In modern medieval style Gothic ornaments and intricate drapery on walls will perfectly look. The color to the room will be added by stained-glass windows, but they can be used only in rooms with high ceilings. That the interior has not turned out gloomy, it is necessary to use bright colors.
