- humidity not less than 90 percent;
- ventilation – without continuous air circulation beet will just decay.

If there are boxes with sand, then it is possible to put beet there. In sand the harvest will safely winter. Previously sand needs to be processed. Root crops can be put also in normal boxes, the main thing, to raise a little them over floor. There is enough 15 centimeters. It is the best of all to take boxes wooden, with wide slots to provide necessary ventilation.
