1. The maple perfectly grows in the trained soil of moderate humidity and average fertility. 2. It is preferable to put maple during the spring period. Landing of tree happens to the garden earth which is rich with humus. At first dig out hole, width and depth has to be twice more than earth lump with roots. Then mix the earth with compost and peat. Take seedling, straighten the confused roots, loosen between them the earth. Then fill the fertilized soil in landing hole, lower sapling there. Leave deepening for watering. The distance between trees has to make not less than three meters. If you have decided to put them as green hedge, then optimum distance – no more than two meters.
3. The maple very much loves water, but categorically does not take out boggy places. If on the site chosen for landing there pass underground waters (closely to earth surface), then it is required to make good drainage and to fall asleep it for hole bottom. The drainage can be made of elimination or filling brick. It is desirable to introduce fertilizers during landing time of maple. If this condition has been violated, then it is necessary to make fertilizing the next year during the spring period. For this purpose enter urea, potash salts and superphosphate into the soil.
4. After landing it is at once abundant water tree. Then will enough water it once a month. In hot time it is possible to make waterings once a week, at the same time it is necessary to drench soil on depth more half a meter (15-20 liters of water on one plant and if the maple young, then does not prevent the doubled portion). Constantly watch the soil, periodically you make superficial loosening after weeding of weeds and the next watering. Avoid consolidation of planting stock.
5. Though the maple is also unpretentious, but after all it needs to pay attention. The tree treats seasonal scraps kindly, after that begins to branch densely and quickly grow. From time to time delete sick and dry branches. The maple inoculation, seeds, shanks breeds. The dormant period lasts from the first frosts before arrival of spring. Try to save weak saplings from frost in the winter, cover with fir twigs root neck.
