At deflowered orchid it is necessary to examine attentively tip of stalk and branches growing on each side. It is quite possible that there the growing tip will be found. If it is not damaged, and its color – green, blossoming is not ended yet. Probability is high that still buds will appear. It can happen also during the main blossoming, and later few months after fall down all flowers.

If the tip of peduncle has dried up and has changed the color, has turned yellow or has turned black, it is hardly worth waiting for new buds. In this case it is better to cut off peduncle – under the basis or is a little higher than the highest "sleeping" point. Care for deflowered orchid not especially differs from leaving during other period. The plant still needs good watering, sufficient humidity, illumination, prevention of diseases and processing from wreckers. For dormant period it is possible to reduce the frequency and volume of fertilizing of orchid, if necessary it is better to move flower to other pot. About need to replace plant will prompt the roots which are sticking out of the lower openings of pot and also what soil after watering quickly dries up. Need for change can arise approximately in two or three years. Air temperature for the vacationer of plant should be maintained approximately same to which it has got used during blossoming. It is possible to pritenit it a little. You should not rearrange often orchid from place to place or to develop it. The plant at rest hard adapts to sharp change of environmental conditions.
