The geranium is one of the most unpretentious of the blossoming houseplants. But it does not mean that for normal growth it needs to be watered and loosened only from time to time. How to provide to geranium high-quality care?

1. The room geranium (other name - geranium) is grown up in special soil which consists of equal shares of sand, peat, humus, the sheet and cespitose earth. The geranium loves light, but can well grow and blossom in shadow. You watch air temperature in the house. It should not fall lower than +18 degrees. Do not leave pot with flower right in the sun in the summer. Ideal temperature for normal activity of room geranium - +19-+21 degrees.
2. In warm season water geranium it is abundant, in process of soil drying. In the winter the level of moisture is better to lower up to 1 time a week. In spite of the fact that the geranium perfectly feels in humid environment, do not fill in it with water, otherwise roots will begin to decay and the plant will die. It is not required to spray its flowers and leaves from spray.
3. Periodically you loosen top layer of soil, remove the turned yellow leaves and faded inflorescences. In the spring the geranium grows especially intensively therefore to stimulate its growth, cut off on 1/3 stalks of plant. Do not replace geranium if in it there is no urgent need. Instead feed it with standard mineral or organic matters which are on sale in flower shops. Feed up geranium 2 times a month. If need of change nevertheless arises, then time best for this purpose – spring.
4. The geranium breeds vegetativno, cherenkovaniye. Experienced flower growers recommend to make multiple copies plant in the spring. For this purpose slightly dry geranium shanks within a day, roll in them in coal powder and plant in damp soil about which composition it was told above. It is good if before landing you disinfect soil boiled water and you will allow to dry up. If you have put shank in the early spring, then at the correct leaving the first inflorescences can appear in the summer.
