1. Actually, care for tradescantia does not make special work. But that the plant has shown the decorative properties fully, it is necessary to create for it favorable conditions. The room tradescantia prefers moderate temperature condition. Optimum air temperature has to be 20-25 degrees in the summer, in the winter the flower can grow at 10-15 degrees.
2. Looking after this unpretentious flowers, it is necessary to remember that the tradescantia is photophilous plant, but feels rather comfortably if on leaves direct sunshine do not get. The tradescantia not bad transfers even full shadow, but at the same time it is not necessary to count on motley and bright coloring of leaves and also abundant blossoming. More tradescantias with monophonic green coloring are suitable for dark zones.
3. Regularly carry out watering of house plant. The tradescantia is hygrophilous flower therefore in warm season water as often as possible. You watch that the earth lump was constantly slightly damp (but do not pour plant, differently roots can decay). In the winter waterings need to be reduced, but do not overdry soil.
