Instruction
1. Determine two main sizes by tape measure: width of flights and lifting height of arch window. At measurement of height draw horizontal line in the place on which the arch window will lean. Make measurement to the highest point of aperture. Write down the sizes on paper.
2. For the production of type-setting arch design having the big sizes and consisting of several parts make calculation of each of them. At first calculate the radius of circle of arch aperture. Recently in interiors the windows consisting of two arches not seldom meet. The sizes of each of them pay off separately.
3. Knowing width of boards of which the framework of arch design will be made, calculate the sizes of parts which of them can be made. It is easy to calculate length of these spare parts, knowing the radius and lifting height of arch.
4. Consider what party of arch (external or internal) you count. The arrangement of load bearing parts of arch aperture depends on it: they can be higher or lower than the arch. At calculations of the sizes of double-sided arch window calculation is made on internal radius.
