Many summer residents want that the kitchen garden not only brought good harvest, but also looked esthetically. Beautiful beds which to make not so difficult can decorate kitchen garden. It is just necessary to follow several simple rules and to apply the imagination.

1. It is the best of all to make high beds, they will be fertile and beautiful. It is necessary to make them in due form. Mark spaces for beds to arrange them from the North on the East. On bottom put branches, sticks, hay, foliage. From above fill compost layer, then put cow or horse manure, and on it – the earth 10-15 cm thick. Such bed long will be fertile and warm. Its width should not exceed 160 cm, height has to equal 70 cm.
2. Now it is necessary to make protections for beds – it is convenient, besides beds with sides look more beautifully than normal. Protections can be done of those materials which are near at hand or purchased. Make, for example, sides of logs in the form of well, paint beds wells or decorate them with thread. Still the idea – edge beds slate, having cut it the Bulgarian on equal strips. Also equal boards will be suitable for protection, but they are bad the fact that they will decay in 4-5 years. On sale there are plastic borders, can frame the beds with them. Excellent small beds and beds turn out from the automobile tires painted in different colors. Originally the beds framed with cobble-stones, wattle fence or low borders from cut plants – lyubistok, parsley, sheet salad, hyssop look.
3. That beds looked beautifully, it is necessary not only to edge them, but also to take care of space between them. Therefore we start the next stage. Put geotextiles (it is on sale in hardware stores) between beds, and on it fill gravel, crushed stone or bark. Such dumping will decorate row-spacings and will not allow to sprout in them to weeds.
