Brick traditionally call the stone made of clay and burned at high temperature. Material is, of course, very reliable and durable. But, unfortunately, the brick costs pretty much. Meanwhile for construction of the house it is possible to use also cheaper improvised materials. For example, it is quite good for this purpose the special type of masonry stone made of loam with straw approaches. Such earth bricks are called adobe or zemlebity.
It is required to you
- - loamy soil;
- - bayonet and sovok shovels;
- - screw driver;
- - garden wheelbarrow;
- - boards of 25-30 mm;
- - 2 thick bars 20 cm long;
- - M400 cement or red clay;
- - self-tapping screws;
- - tamper from beech, ash-tree or oak.
Instruction
1. Make the machine for production of the zemlebit in the form of box without bottom with strong handles of bar on each side. It is considered that thickness of adobe walls should not be less than 50-60 cm. It also determines the form sizes. For example, very convenient earth bricks in work can be made with use of the machine 30х60х20 cm. For connection of parts of form use self-tapping screws.
2. Prepare mix for bricks. Soil for the zemlebit is better to take loamy. Fertile it is impossible to use peat or garden. Gather the earth from depth in 50-70 cm and remove from it stones and various organic chemistry. Dig out hole of 4х3 m, fill in it the earth and pour a little water. For durability add to mix red clay or cement (up to 10% of weight) and straw (30-60%). Make mixture legs until it does not become absolutely uniform.
3. Carry out tests of the received earth mix. For this purpose take bucket without bottom and fill its zemlebity. Do laying by layers on 10-12 cm with tamper. You dry the turned-out brick in shadow under canopy within two weeks. Drop ready stone from height in one meter. If it does not break - mix is suitable for production of earth bricks.
4. Fill form mix, condensing each layer with strong tamper. Level weight from above and take off uniform from the turned-out brick. Make some more such stones. Leave bricks from the earth with straw dries for 3-4 days in shadow, and then invert them on edge and take so some more days. In process of drying of stones spread walls by method "in brick" on the butobetonny continuous reinforced footing.
