Kitchen extract - very important element of comfort in the house. It helps to remove the hot, impregnated with smells air from the room and not to allow it to extend to living rooms. The extract can both be bought, and to collect independently according to the taste.
The kitchen extract is designed to delete the hot polluted air from the room and to send it to building ventilation system. There are two types of similar designs: active (with the electric fan) and passive (dome, working at the expense of the ascending draft, on condition of working air duct in the house).
Materials for production of extract
Of course, it is the simplest to buy gofrotruba of necessary length and to attach it one end over plate, and to send another to air vent, but such extract looks not too attractively even if to add it with the electric fan.
To make air offtake esthetic will be required: sheets of the gypsum cardboard resistant to moisture; gofrotruba and insulating material for it (neutralized noise during the work); metal galvanized sections; corner (for registration of edges of extract); fixing materials; putty and paint for final finishing. From tools the screw driver, the perforator, level, tape measure, scissors or file on metal, the palette and brush are necessary.
Process of creation of the extract
It is necessary to begin with marking. The corrugated pipe will be closed by box from gypsum cardboard, and it is necessary to think over as it will be placed on interval from plate to ventilating window. Now, on marking, it is necessary to make for future box framework of metalprofile with cross levels. The frame and basis for the extract connecting then with metal "skeleton" of box are made of the same material. After that the gofrotruba enveloped by noise-insulating material keeps within design. One its end will be sent to vent system of the building, another – to plate. The next stage – finishing by gypsum cardboard. After its fixing, for registration of edges of design the corner is established, further it becomes covered by putty, and then – and is fixed by paint on wall. The similar air offtake if desired can be collected, for example, from plywood. If it is necessary to make "active" extract, in the body, on entrance, install the small electric fan and connect it to network.
Important parts
Installation of extract makes sense only at serviceable vent system of the building: if in it there is no draft, air will leave very badly. Sometimes there are difficulties also at owners of the metalplastic windows which are closed hermetically. At the working extract it is recommended to put them at least in the microairing mode.
