In the fall all works in garden have to be directed to making it ready for the winter, and to plants to help to go to condition of rest for good rewintering. Autumn works in garden take away a lot of time and forces from amateur gardeners.
First of all it is necessary to refuse introduction of nitrogen fertilizers. They promote the active growth of trees and bushes. Therefore the garden it is better to feed up phosphoric or potash fertilizers.

Also for prevention against mosses and lichens of surface of trees it is possible to oprysnut solution of iron vitriol or lime. Further take off trap belts from trunks of fruit-trees and destroy.

All garden trees before winter surely are bleached. For whitewashing use either ready mixes, or mix slaked lime, copper vitriol and clay. It is possible to add a little carbophos to this mix. Its smell will frighten off various rodents.
By fall of detailed cutting in garden do not do, except for some bushes, for example some raspberry. At fruit and berry plants delete only the old and broken branches. Young branches of saplings connect among themselves that snow has not broken them.
Besides the main works connected with preparation of plants for winter it is necessary not to forget to drain water from outer water supply systems and barrels. To remove all watering hoses from the site and also to dry and put away all garden stock.
