The liquid wall-paper put with the palette or the roller differs not only beauty and unique utilization properties, but also rather high price. To save the family budget from ruin during creation of refined interior, it is possible to use available method of manufactures of liquid wall-paper in house conditions.
Advantages of liquid wall-paper consist not only in their exclusive decorative effect, but also in convenience of operation: the covering can be applied on carelessly prepared surfaces, promotes increase zvuko- and thermal insulations, does not absorb smells and gives broad lands for creativity during the work on interior registration of the dwelling.
The simplest manufacturing techniques of liquid wall-paper the hands mean use of large amount of the waste paper exempted from metal paper clips and cut on small strips. Paper is placed in spacious capacity, filled in with warm water and left to razmokat for 3-4 hours. As a rule, on 1 kg of waste paper about 5 l of water leave.
After the necessary time paper stock is carefully mixed drill with nozzle mixer before receiving homogenous mixture. Add to structure 200 ml of PVA glue, liquid color of the necessary shade then mix once again well mixes up.
In need of structure it is possible to add decorative elements – spangles, mica, small marble crumb, etc. Just before drawing wall-paper on walls add to structure 150-200 g of alabaster or construction plaster.
It is necessary to consider that when drying color of wall-paper will look more pale, than in damp mix therefore it is initially recommended to train the structure which was more saturated on the shade.
If when drawing wall-paper on wall mix tries to keep step with the tool and irregularly lays down on surface, it is recommended to use previously the primer giving to wall certain roughness.
As parent material for production of wall-paper fibrous materials of artificial or natural origin are used: medical cotton wool, cellulose heaters, linen or woolen fiber, residues of yarn for needlework, sintepon. By means of scissors, material is small crushed and if necessary is painted in right color.
The prepared basis is placed in construction capacity, mixed in proportion 1:1 with binding substance as which the putty on acrylic basis, Bustilat glue, PVA or any casein structure for gluing of wall-paper can be used. Besides, mix may contain antiseptic additives, one or several liquid dyes, decorative elements.
The received weight is carefully mixed, if necessary diluted with water and left for 3-5 hours for good treatment of fibers by the gluing structure. Liquid wall-paper applies on wall with thin layer, smoothes by means of plaster trowel, in process of material drying by sharp knife the surplus supporting contours of the processed surfaces is removed.
- If at observance of all rules of drawing liquid wall-paper weight is badly fixed on surface, it is recommended to reduce the volume of fibers and other additives in initial structure;
- at emergence of cracks and chips on the drying structure the problem is corrected increase in amount of the reinforcing substances: add mineral fillers, woolen or silk thread, linen fibers;
- if liquid wall-paper peels off, then it is necessary to increase the volume of binding substance – glue or acrylic putty.
