For those who are engaged in preparation of timber at the professional level it is the best of all to get power-saw bench, factory fabricated. But if you need to construct wooden house or to use this equipment in other household purposes, then it is better to make minipower-saw bench the hands.
It is required to you
- - 2 channels;
- - water pipes;
- - threaded studs;
- - steel plate;
- - electric motor;
- - saw.
Instruction
1. Make design rail. For this purpose take two channel steels or two rails and unroll them sole up. Make in them sideways openings with a diameter of 14-16 mm on all length at distance, identical on height, with step to 1-1.5 m.
2. Make for tie power-saw bench by quantity of the received openings. As couplers it is possible to use water pipes with a diameter of 250 mm. To connect couplers to channels, use threaded studs from 290 to 340 mm long or bolts.
3. Put collected basis on racks which can be made of metal squares. The quantity of racks directly depends on length of the received basis. In this option will be four racks enough. The distance from the end of basis to extreme racks has to be about 80-100 cm.
4. Weld or attach screws between racks special drag struts. It will give to power-saw bench the necessary rigidity and will not give it the chance to cave in under weight of log. You make assembly of power-saw bench on that place where it has to be established. As the weight of design very big, transportation of the equipment can be rather difficult. Also for bigger stability of all design of rack it is possible to drive in the earth.
5. After the basis is collected and established on racks, manufacture the mobile cart. Take for this purpose steel plate 6 m long and 4 cm thick. On width the plate has to go beyond on 10 mm channel from each party.
6. From below attach emphasis to plate – corner and put it on rollers or bearings which will give it the chance of free movement along bases to both parties. On the cart weld 2 corners to attach the 10 kW electric motor and saw with a diameter of 1 meter. Movement of the cart will happen to the help of steering wheel and chain from the combine.
