The sewer drain in the bathroom is always located above floor height. When mounting shower cabin to provide good draining and also in addition to emphasize beauty of the cabin, the podium is established. It is the height over floor height which can be constructed in different ways of any available materials.

Instruction
1. Requirements for podium height for different models of shower cabins can differ. But anyway do the height so that height sewer than pipe where draining is located, was 6-8 cm lower. Only by such method it is possible to avoid effect of siphon or stagnation of water in pallet.
2. For measurements use shower pallet. Install it on the constant place. From walls the pallet has to be at distance of 25 cm. Outline marker or chalk the pallet size. You will make podium 25 cm more from each party.
3. Further you carry out works on own discretion. The podium can be made of tree, brick, cement. You just should lay out brick on cement slurry and to finish at own discretion.
4. The wooden podium will long serve if you establish dry bar. Finishing can also be carried out at own will, but before its carrying out process tree antiseptics for prevention of emergence of mold which perniciously affects durability of design, and impregnate with drying oil.
5. More complex work is necessary with installation of cement podium. Make timbering of Teso by the size of future podium, establish prefabricated reinforcement cage that the podium has not cracked and was stronger, fill in with solution. Prepare solution mix at the rate of 1 part of portland cement 400, 3 parts of sand, 3 parts of crushed stone. Pour water gradually that mix has turned out a little more densely than sour cream. Too dry solution forms emptiness which in the subsequent can lead to cracks.
6. Give time to solution to stiffen. Full hardening of podium will require 4 weeks.
7. Trim podium with tile or mosaic. Further it is possible to install shower cabin according to the instruction from the producer and to use it directly.
