Many owners of country houses and seasonal dachas ask question: how to construct pond the hands. The reservoir is effective element of registration of the parcel. Artificial ponds become popular more and more, they bring charm and harmony in the image of the site. The sizes and depth completely depends on the size of the site and on desire of the creator.
Instruction
1. Before starting construction of pond, it is necessary to decide on the place of its arrangement well. Avoid sharp differences of relief, usually pond do the correct form, it can be rectangular, oval, square and round.
2. It is necessary to consider also that such pond was available from all its parties. The path has to go around it, and approach has to be carried out at least from two parties. Close finding and arrangement of trees as during falling off of foliage the water filter will get littered will be undesirable, and foliage will begin to decay on water surface. Therefore carefully study ratio of light and shade as absolutely shaded place is not desirable for pond.
3. After you have decided on the location of future pond, can safely start excavation of the earth. The film reservoir should not be too deep as the big pressure upon film can lead to its gaps. If you want to breed further fishes, then it is necessary to consider frost depth which is 80-100 centimeters therefore 30% of the area of reservoir to have depth about two meters.
4. The bottom of pond has to have consecutive steps, it is necessary for uniform pressure distribution. On edge of pond make small deepening – 15-20 centimeters for the best strengthening of film. After the bottom is dug, remove from it all sharp objects: garbage, roots and stones. Strew it with layer of sand of 10-15 centimeters or cover bottom geotextiles, it will interfere with rupture of film at its laying.
5. Lay waterproofing film, it needs to be laid on all surface of pond if there is not enough overlapping, stick together it special glue. Fix edges by means of stones or dig in soil. You should not forget also about devices for spillway, thanks to the angular coupling, it is possible to regulate height of water in pond. After that according to the sizes of pond install the filter and the pump.
6. After the film is laid, and all necessary equipment is installed, it is possible to pour water. Decorate the coastline stones or pebble. You can use scaffolds or wood decks. Landing of various plants is also considered integral part of pond. All registration completely depends on your or design decision and on functional purpose.
