2. The first way of how to make the copy of key, concerns so-called "English" flat keys. Take preparation and, having accurately combined with original key, clamp in bench screw.
3. As files of various form of section and size consistently choose metal in preparation. At the same time the original of key serves you as peculiar template. In specialized workshop this process is carried out on the machine in only a few minutes. It is not excluded if process of removal of the copy of key takes significantly more time you.
4. Check the new key made by you in the lock. If it opens with effort, once again combine the copy of key with the original and lick the copy into shape. This work demands certain skills of handling of the metalwork tool.
5. For other way of removal of the copy from key you will need plasticine. Take plasticine bar from ordinary children's set for molding. Attach the original of key to the flat surface of plasticine bar and press into it to half of thickness of key.
6. Invert key and do the same once again, having made key deepening in plasticine since other end of bar. Now you have full-fledged mold of original key. Such way, by the way, can quite often be seen in detective and spy movies.
7. Now things are easy – it is necessary to bring by means of the same metalwork tools in advance prepared pig suitable by the sizes into accord with mold. The mold is necessary from time to time to put to it the copy and to check new key for compliance to the original. Ideally all ledges and hollows on the duplicate have to coincide in accuracy with "family".
8. The copy of key is ready. Check it in the lock and try not to lose any more.
