At installation of ceiling plinth it is important to make the correct corner in places of its joining. When building plinth in a straight line it is necessary to observe right angle of the joined parts, and even more laborious task is to provide beautiful joint in room corners. 1. You can rely on the eye estimation and cut off product without special devices, "by eye". However there is no guarantee that at the same time corners of the joined elements will be exemplary.
2. Extremely exact performance of the required corner will require the miter box. It is the special joiner's purpose tool allowing to control corner of the cut-off parts. The miter box is used to sawing of boards, bars, plinths, door platbands as under the fixed corners in 45, 60, 90 degrees, and under any corners.
3. Usually the miter box is the tray in section reminding letter P in which sidewalls the through pro-saws located under certain corners are made. The cutting tool (hacksaw cloth, assembly knife) is inserted into these pro-saws. The tool moves on pro-saws as guides. It is possible to manufacture the miter box and independently of wood of strong breeds. Perhaps also production of the miter box from plastic or aluminum.
4. One of versions of such device is the rotary miter box. The device for fixing of part and the turning gear allowing to expose any any corner for the subsequent cutting of preparation is provided in it. The rotary miter box can be used for processing of faces of plinth which need to be joined under difficult corner.
5. Mark plinth longwise and enclose it in miter box tray. Press preparation to one of the side surfaces of the device, having connected the line of marking to the corresponding cut. For joining of T-joints of plinth it will be required to make corner in 45 degrees. Assembly or stationery accurately knife plinth on cut. It is necessary to cut one strong progress, holding knife vertically.
6. In a similar way process the second element of couple which is subject to joining. At installation of plinth in the place of fastening it is necessary to adjust T-joints in the beginning, and already then to cut off plinth longwise.
