The dark room with windows on the North – the real problem for owners of housing. Very difficult constantly to take out the heavy pressing darkness of badly lit room. Ways of solving the problem two: to find new housing or to turn the dark room into light by means of some simple receptions.
Instruction
1. Think over lighting. It is not enough to make of it bright, lighting has to be multilevel. Establish several luminous sources to have opportunity to regulate intensity of light.
2. Recolour walls. Colors will help to make light the room: white, golden, pink, light green. Be careful with cold shades – they visually "lower" indoor temperature.
3. Do not overload room space with furniture. Choose light easy openwork home decoration. If furniture nevertheless is chosen as dark, then it has to be varnished that surfaces of cabinets, tables, bedside tables reflected light.
4. Think over colors for floor and ceiling. The ceiling can be classical white, and here white floor – it is impractical. Choose light shades for floor covering: pink, color of ivory, beige, light-nut and to that similar. The best option – glossy laminate, parquet from light tree.
5. Use in interior of the dark room of mirror. They force the room to seem is lighter more. Have mirrors opposite to windows or near luminous sources that smooth surfaces doubled light getting on them.
6. Decorating interior small parts, give preference to cheerful live bright objects. It is ideal if they have the surfaces reflecting light. Decorate the dark room with color metal, nacreous, glass knickknacks – and it will brighten and will play.
7. Refuse heavy curtains. For the dark room they are contraindicated. The thin veils, curtains from fine flax which are most passing light will become the best choice for it.
8. Refuse excess of textiles in the dark room. Do not overload interior with covers, pillows, wardrobe trunks. All these objects do not add light and volume to the room in any way.
