How to make the induction heater

The induction heater is the transformer having the primary winding with large number of rounds and secondary short-circuited winding. This device allows to heat certain "environment", excluding at the same time formation of smoke, unpleasant smells and other pollution thanks to what use of this heating unit is safe for people.

It is required to you

  • - welding inverter;
  • - steel rolled wire or stainless steel;
  • - plastic thick pipe;
  • - metal gauze;
  • - adapters;
  • - nippers;
  • - the copper enameled wire;
  • - pump;
  • - water.

Instruction

1. Depending on what has to be heater power, choose the welding high-frequency inverter with the corresponding size of welding current. Optimum indicator of force of welding current – 15 amperes though you can use also more powerful unit.

2. As the material heated in the high-frequency field use thick steel wire or stainless steel. By means of nippers cut rolled wire on five-centimetric pieces.

3. The body of the induction heater will be executed from thick plastic pipe. Choosing pipe, pay attention to its inside diameter: by the size it has to be a little less than 5 cm (length of pieces of wire).

4. Attach the adapter intended for connection of this component with other heating system on the one side of plastic pipe. Then lay the metal gauze (it will prevent rolled wire fall) on bottom of pipe and fill up inside the cut pieces of wire. It is necessary to fill such amount of rolled wire that in pipe there was no free space left. After that close the second pipe end one more adapter.

5. Start production of the induction coil. For this purpose wind plastic pipe with the enameled copper wire: it is necessary to make 80-90 rounds.

6. Now connect the unit to heating system, fill in water and connect the welding inverter to winding. After that turn on the pump which would provide compulsory water circulation in heating system.
