Welding is often necessary for reliable connection of metal goods. For those who like to make something at themselves in garage the welding machine is simply irreplaceable. As a matter of fact, the simplest welding machine is a lowering transformer of alternating current which if desired can be collected most in the conditions of garage.
It is required to you
- Electrotechnical steel, Tsapon – varnish, copper wires, textolite, fiber glass fabric, cotton fabric.
Instruction
1. Gather from electrotechnical steel Sh – figurative magnetic conductor (core), 11 centimeters thick and edge of 5 centimeters wide. At set of the core, isolate sheets of steel from each other, covering them tsapon - it is delicious to reduce influence of whirling currents to minimum.
2. Further reel up 230 rounds of wire on one edge of the core which is previously isolated, with a diameter of 2.5 mm. (diameter it is measured on naked wire). Before winding, wind wire with cotton isolation or fiber glass fabric. Between layers of winding lay the sheet of fiber glass fabric. It will be the primary winding of the transformer.
3. Reel up 65 rounds of wire on the second edge, with a diameter of 12 - 15 mm. This wire has to be well isolated by heat-resistant material too. It will be secondary winding.
4. Make plate of the sheet of textolite. It will need to be fixed from above the transformer. In it drill openings under conclusions, fix bolts in them and attach to them the ends of wires.
