If you have seriously decided to be engaged in cultivation of rabbits, you need at least the simplest lodge for their contents. It is absolutely optional to build long-term stationary design, you will be able quite to manage make-shifts and materials which any house handyman can get. So, we build the rabbit-hutch the hands.

1. Boards, other wooden parts, the metal gauze, pieces of slate or roofing material will be necessary for you for arrangement of lodge for rabbits.
2. Structurally the rabbit-hutch consists of four columns and asbestos-cement pipes with a diameter of 125 mm, 650 mm long. Pipes are fixed in the basis by the frame made of concrete. It allows to remove easily dung of animals from floor, under its trellised part. Cleaning in this case can devote not enough time, the floor remains clean and dry. The rest of floor should be executed from continuous boards – they will be the vacation spot of rabbits.
3. At construction of the rabbit-hutch begin with floors. The frame of 1000х600 mm, three boards of 600х150 mm in size and bars of various section will be required for this purpose. After that it is necessary to make the top frame of bars. It is not recommended to create vertical communications between this frame and floor as any speakers of part rabbits begin to gnaw.
4. Place bars of which trellised part of floor is made only longitudinally to feeding trough, it will provide to paws of animals convenience at support on paws. Lodge door thickness – about 2 cm, back wall has the doubled thickness. Beat the metal gauze on face side of the rabbit-hutch in the form of continuous cloth.
5. In such lodge it is quite possible to raise from May to October of three krolchat. For food make feeding trough, equip it with the protecting level protecting from dumping of food in cage. Provide openings for pass of water by means of which the feeding trough periodically should be washed in floor of feeding trough. Drinking water is pumped to rabbits through rabbit-hutch door.
6. The roof of the rabbit-hutch can quite be made of pieces of wavy slate. Lay them freely, to fix sheets there is no need, thanks to weight the sheets will reliably lie. The lodge for rabbits is ready to accept the big-eared residents.
