Travyanchik is the lovely nice toy capable to decorate and recover interior both in the apartment, and on the seasonal dacha. Travyanchik can be made any form and the size – in the form of figures of animals, gnomes, various fairy tale characters, etc. Toy this "live" as it is filled with nutritious soil and seeds of lawn grass. At regular watering at travyanchik grass head hair or wool on back will begin to grow. Children very much like to look after travyanchik and to watch process of growth of grass which can be cut and even to do from it "hair".
It is required: - old stocking; - seeds of lawn grass;
- nutritious soil: the earth which can be mixed with sawdust or sand; - decorative elements for ornament – eyes, mouth; it is possible to use buttons and also any materials which will be prompted by imagination;
- waterproof glue, waterproof paints, scissors, threads, thin silicone elastic bands.
1. For a start – the easiest way of production of travyanchik. It is necessary to take stocking and to cut off from it piece about 25 cm long. To tie one end on knot and to turn out inside – it there will be upper part, the travyanchik head. Further in the received sack it is necessary to fill up seeds of lawn grass – about 2 tablespoons: what seeds will be more, the more intensively process of "gardening" of toy. From above the earth is filled up and stamped, so that the toy has gradually taken the sphere form. It is necessary to watch that seeds remained at the bottom of sack, that is "on the head". Now edges of stocking need to be pulled together and tied on knot, to slightly press it inside, to disguise. To invert ball "head" up. It is preparation of travyanchik.
2. We start ornament. Here – scope of imagination and creativity. It is possible just to paste waterproof glue of eye, nose, mouth, various accessories of type of handbags, umbrellas, hats, etc. More difficult option is to make nose and ears directly of "body" of travyanchik: on the place of expected part of the face it is necessary to occupy fingers of one hand the small site of stocking together with soil, to create ball, and other hand to wind the basis of this ball with thread or silicone elastic band. By the same principle of pulling of separate parts of preparation of toy it is possible to do paws, muzzles, tails, etc., but it is already "aerobatics". Adding seeds to any given part of body, it is possible to achieve vegetation in the right places. It is also possible to paint travyanchik with waterproof paints.3. If the travyanchik "lives" in the apartment or in the house, then it needs to be placed in some capacity – plate, saucer, etc. and to put on windowsill for sunlight access. On the seasonal dacha the toy can be placed directly on the earth, on bed, in flowerpot – where the imagination will prompt. It is possible to make the whole company of amusing beings with green hair! It is necessary to water travyanchik every day, especially in hot weather, and it will long please you and your children with the cheerful look.
