Wooden fences – the most ancient type of protection of the site. They are always available and do not demand big monetary investments. Of course, the wattled fence is not durable in comparison with brick or metal, but ease of its construction allows to make choice in its advantage. Also it looks very decoratively, creating cosiness on personal plot.

- - willow rods;
- - metal stakes;
- - paring hammer;
- - wire.
Instruction
1. Prepare rod to make wattled fence. Early spring and late fall – the best time for preparation of rods as the frozen slightly earth will allow you to approach bushes easily. For wattled fence use willow rods or sprouts of other trees and bushes. Rods have to be flexible, equal and long. For big fence thickness of rod has to be 2-3 cm. Escapes 1-2 cm thick will be suitable for decorative fence.
2. Cut off escapes knife, doing diagonal cut. Connect the prepared rod in bunches and dry up. Rods can be stored in such state long time. Before use they are steamed out to give them flexibility. It is possible to make wattled fence and of svezhesrezanny escapes, without deleting green leaves.
3. Decide on type of fence. It can be vertical or horizontal. Vertical reminds ordinary fence. In horizontal fence the rods are located, as in wicker basket.
4. For support of fence prepare stakes with a diameter of 6 cm with the sharpened end. Process komelny edges (the sharpened ends) any anti-septic tank or char them on fire. The unprotected tree will quickly decay in the earth.
5. You can use metal pipes as stakes. For this purpose bury piece of pipe to the earth, and attach wooden column to it.
6. Hammer into the earth stakes through each 50 cm on all perimeter of the site. You watch that they were equal height.
7. For vertical fence make not less than three cross-pieces between columns, otherwise rods will not keep in fence. They will form basis for weaving. For cross-pieces take thick branches. Previously remove from them bark. Fix them between columns equally spaced.
8. Take rod and the thick end lower to the earth. Braid with it horizontal ranks and cut off at the necessary height.
9. The horizontal fence does not require cross-pieces. That such fence was not scattered, fix tips of rods by wire. Begin to interweave from the earth up to the necessary height.
10. For this purpose get the thick end of rod for the second stake, twisting with flexible part the first stake. As a result "eight" will turn out. Twist all stakes so that each rod was continuation previous.
11. Periodically condense rod, tapping from above on it with paring hammer. You watch that the ends of rods were located from the inside of fence. Cut off them knife, and fill the ends of the last row along stakes. Varnish wattled fence.
