Weaving process
If at horizontal method of weaving most often it is necessary to bend bar in chessboard order between three skids, then process of horizontal weaving demands bigger art.
As we have already told, its basis are thicker, than the rod, rods hammered into the earth at distance of 30-40 cm between rod posts.
The first step – installation of the lower rods, horizontal weaving of fences goes progressively from below up, in difference from method of vertical weaving when that from left to right that from right to left – all one.
So, the lower rods fasten at distance about 10 cm from the earth, it for some time will preserve the lower part of fence from excessive moisture which proceeds from the earth and grass.
The lowermost rod of weaving can be fixed in the beginning in two ways: or to bury to the earth approximately at 15 cm, or to fix around frame by wire or the self-tapping screw as all subsequent rods fasten.
All of them have: more rib-steaks and thinner terminations growing closer to trunk. It is more rational to begin weaving with the thick end, then it will be easier to decide destiny of thinner termination: whether to bend it in the opposite direction, or just to cut off, having tired out for the last pole, etc.
So, being condensed by means of the hammer, the fence up to the necessary height in chessboard order rises then from above and from sides all sticking-out parts are cut off and it takes that form for which from it owners of the garden site and especially that master who has risked to make it with own hands waited.
