Instruction
1. To prepare willow rod for work, i.e. to receive white rod, it needs to be boiled thoroughly. Bring water in high-capacity to boiling and lower in it rods. Boil thoroughly them within hour on strong fire, and then on moderate. That the rod became light, two hours will be enough; for more dark shades boil material till 4 o'clock. Then clean rod from bark. If not to make it, rods will lose presentation. Remove bark with rough glove or rasshchepy.
2. Just before weaving soak rods within hour in water and 15 minutes in wet fabric. Repeat this procedure until rods do not become flexible and elastic.
3. For production of framework of wattled stool 430-470 cm high and with a diameter of seat of 340-390 mm take 4 willow sticks which diameter of 40-50 mm.
4. Curve upper part of rod, and lower at distance of 110 mm cut off on half of thickness and leave the thin ends. After that on template curve two hoops: the first 280 mm in the diameter, it at assembly will be top; and the second 330 mm in the diameter - it will be lower.
5. To make stool with pro-legs, for their production take two rods: 25 mm in the diameter, 420 mm in length. The termination of pro-legs, on 60 mm from edge, break and cut off. In the same way record also the top strut. Curve both rods of strut and give them the semi-oval form. After that fix stool legs to the top hoop equally spaced. Upper cuts of legs round hoop and beat them.
6. Now finish assembly of framework. For this purpose round braid the top hoop with thin willow rods. At the edges braid the top and lower hoop with openwork weaving. That to make stool soft, from above on weaving put foam rubber and braid seat once again. Thus, the stool will turn out soft, very stylish and graceful.
7. Such wattled stool will originally look in any room, adding interior color of old times, the nature and the spring sun.
