Mounting of heating services – work responsible. That in the house it was warm, it is necessary to provide set of the most various parameters. If you have decided to be engaged in installation of heating system independently before getting to work, attentively study the available information. It is better to spend a little time for studying the theory, than subsequently to remake all over again.

- – plastic pipes;
- – armature and fitting;
- – teflon tape;
- – device for pipe welding;
- – metalwork and sanitary tool.
1. Choose type of the scheme according to which mounting of heating services will be carried out. Schemes of heating are different – to compulsory and natural circulation, single-circuit and double-circuit, to broad flank and without it, one-pipe and two-pipe, to the oncoming and passing traffic of the heat carrier.
2. The simplest autonomous single-circuit two-pipe system with gas boiler and broad tank with the passing movement of the heat carrier is presented on the drawing. Single-circuit it is called because has only one contour on which the heat carrier moves. Two-pipe – because it has two pipelines – filling (red) and by-pass (blue). The passing movement of the heat carrier is defined by the fact that he moves in the top branch pipe of the battery and is brought from the opposite side from the lower branch pipe.
3. The decision on that to arrange system with compulsory or natural circulation depends on length of the horizontal pipeline in one direction. If it does not exceed 20 m, circulation can be natural, i.e. it is not obligatory to establish circulating pump. If in the house there is water supply system, the broad flank is not put.
4. Define the necessary number of batteries and also material and diameter of adjustable pipes. Necessary power of batteries for the room can be determined on the simplified formula having P appearance = 0,1∙1,15∙S where: 0.1 - power in kW, necessary for heating of 1 m² of the area, 1.15 – the coefficient considering the power reserve, S – room space in m².
5. As the parting pipes use plastic pipes from polypropylene or the sewed polyethylene. It is easy to mount them, they create the smaller tractive resistance of the heat carrier, have big life cycle. Use the following diameters of pipes: for the filling and taking-away pipes – 50 mm (2 ″), for the pipes which are bringing to batteries and taking away from them – ¾-1 ″.
6. Install the gas boiler in the room suitable for this purpose. In operation of gas boiler employees of gas service have to carry out all works on installation and start.
7. Fix radiators on walls. Batteries establish in niches under windowsills at distance about 80 mm from the lower plane of the last. At the same time the distance from radiator to floor has to be not less than 100 mm. The axis of batteries has to coincide with axis of window opening. The distance from wall to heating appliances has to make not less than 40 mm. You make installation by means of standard brackets which have completed batteries, or self-made in the form of the hooks attached by dowels to wall.
8. If in the house there is no water supply system, install broad flank in the topmost point of the room. As it it is possible to use the aluminum flask of 25 or 40 l which is leaky closed by cover without sealing elastic band. Sideways, at small distance from the bottom, the union for connection of tank to heating services has to be installed. If you install broad tank on the attic, warm it in order to avoid freezing in the winter.
9. Carry out distributing of pipes. Horizontal lines have to have bias towards stream not less than 0.5%. Connect pipes screwed fittings to preliminary winding on thread of teflon tape and polifuzny welding – in places of permanent connections. For implementation of welding use the special welding machine for plastic pipes.
10. When distributing pipes pay special attention to compensation of their temperature expansions.
