More often it is possible to meet furniture, doors and windows from interline interval. Products perfectly look, but only until they are new. But if exterior of furniture has ceased to suit you, you should not send it to garbage can. You will be able independently to update covering or having addressed in workshop.
It is required to you
- - varnish or paint;
- - small emery cloth;
- - mordant;
- - brushes and roller.
Instruction
1. Prepare furniture for paint and varnish works. Remove from it all elements of decor on which paint can get. If it is impossible to turn off them, then cover them with cellophane film (normal food will approach).
2. Remove old covering by means of emery cloth with small sputtering. If coat of paint rather thick, then use coarse-grained abrasive paper. The procedure is rather long and troublesome, but it is not necessary to use the grinder for the purpose of work simplification. It will damage interline interval as deepenings in material can appear from behind high turns.
3. If in places there were roughnesses or chips, then ground them then level putty on tree. Wait until it completely dries out, then slightly grind abrasive paper.
4. Mix mordant and put in two layers that color has turned out equal and saturated. If you use aqueous emulsion or enamel paint, then it is not necessary to give shade.
5. If you have decided to paint interline interval paint, then apply it in several layers. With varnish everything is a little more difficult. Put the first layer, let's it dry out. If "splinters" in places stick out, then remove them with abrasive paper.
6. Cover interline interval with the second varnish coat by means of the roller – so the covering will turn out more exactly. You watch that there were no smudges, it will be very difficult to remove them. For this purpose well roll the roller in special pallet.
7. You watch that in the course of drying-out of covering on it dust and other pollution did not get, otherwise you should do all way of coloring of interline interval from the very beginning.
8. Approximately in 1-2 days fasten all removed decor elements. It is undesirable to do it earlier as varnish dries out 48 hours.
