Rose – flower about which it is possible to tell surely that it is loved by all. There will be no person indifferent to her tenderness and softness, regal magnificence and inaccessibility. All admire beauty of this flower. The rose decorates our houses, gardens and dachas. Having one grade, there is a wish to bring two, three. The pleasant or especially favourite grade can be multiplied easily. For example, shanks. At the seeming simplicity this simple way nevertheless demands implementation of certain rules.
Instruction
1. Prepare nutritious soil. For this purpose take 2 parts of greenhouse humus, 2 parts of mix of bank sand and clay to which it is added slightly bird's dung. Clay can replace with the cespitose earth (well to take it from under the nettle choosing the soil rich with nutrients). Before filling of pot with the earth arrange at its bottom drainage from haydite or small stones.
2. From rose stalk (it is the best of all to take branch, on which just has faded flower) sharp knife or edge cut shanks. The cut has to have sharp angle. Trace that on each shank there were not less than 3 kidneys. If on stalk there are leaves, remove them or cut off half.
3. Place shanks for 6 hours in solution of amber acid or heteroauxin, they can be bought in flower shop (attentively read the instruction). It will accelerate germination and further rooting of flower.
4. Thrust shanks at an angle in the humidified earth. Trample down fingers the soil around each shank to exclude air emptiness (i.e. the shank has to sit in the earth tight). Cover with the film which is cut off by plastic bottle or glass jar. Do not forget to air from time to time. Watering – moderate, in process of drying of surface of soil. It will be better if for rooting you place your landings in the darkened place.
5. In several days on shanks young leaflets have to appear. Remove film (bottles, banks) and put pot on windowsill. Protect roses from direct sunshine. You do not hurry to replace shanks in other pots or to the open ground in garden. Let's them get stronger properly.
