The majority of the Russian cars begins "to rattle" over time. Only the noise isolation can save from it. For a start it is necessary to stock up with material and suitable tools. All work can be performed independently.
Instruction
1. At first it is necessary to remove and disassemble all torpedo. Also it is recommended to take cover on tunnel of floor and air ducts to legs of rear passengers. On the place there has to be only oven. Remove all deflectors and also air ducts from Torpedo. Sort glove box. Unbend metal uvulas on reverse side and remove pad. In this state it is the best of all to be passed a little on the car and to look what else rattles and creaks.
2. After that you can pass to pasting. On the internal big planes paste dinamat pieces. Cut out them very accurately. Pay special attention to the upper and lower part of Torpedo. There everything has to be pasted completely over. Also it is recommended to paste on bottom of shelf which is under glove box, dinamat.
3. After that take foam rubber and paste over round each deflector and the place in which the air duct adjoins to Torpedo. Then cut strip of 10х20 mm and paste at the edges to the place of pad adherence. If it is necessary, then remove surplus. Establish pad into place. Also paste foam rubber strip on that place where the pad adjoins to the body of Torpedo about glass blowing openings.
4. In those places where Torpedo contacts to doors, paste the necessary size pieces of carpet. When closing doors Torpedo will refrain from fluctuations. Well glue the place of contact of halves of glove box. In the space of passing of wires for Torpedo surely paste foam rubber. You should not forget about the console. Glue foam rubber strips so that they came forward on 10 mm. At installation of the console they have to be bent sideways. Places of contact with skids from the autoradio tape recorder are also recommended to be glued well. It was necessary only to bring together upside-down Torpedo and to install it on the former place.
