It is possible to update old furniture, having pasted over it with film. It is the budgetary option for rapid change of interior. Self-bonding is waterproof therefore it suits for use in rooms with the increased humidity. You can choose film of suitable coloring or the imitating various invoice: under tree or under skin, with patterns, opaque or glossy, color, transparent. The main condition – the pasted-over surface has to be smooth.

- - tape measure;
- - pencil and scissors;
- - soft rag;
- - flower spray.
Instruction
1. Clean furniture surface from various pollution. Wipe it with rag or sponge with rigid layer, the wetted in suitable cleaning agent.
2. Unscrew handles at doors if they get to that place where the film will be pasted.
3. Examine surface from different sides. The quality of pasting will depend on your attentiveness. There should be no roughnesses, hillocks, chips. If have found roughness, close up it putty and grind abrasive paper. Miss the mark wooden surfaces without varnish coat with acrylic primer.
4. Take the measurements of the prepared furniture surfaces by means of tape measure. Go to shop behind film. Consider that rolls of self-bonding happen different width. Pick up suitable option that you had not to join film without excess need.
5. Postpone given sizes on sticky film from inner side. For convenience of application the centimetric marking is already put there. Draw parts pencil. It is possible to cut elements scissors or painting knife on ruler.
6. Gather in the flower spray cold water from under the crane. Sprinkle that part of furniture with which you are going to begin pasting. The self-adhesive film will slide on damp surface. It will give you time to smooth it that there were no wrinkles and bubbles. If on the pasted part after all the bubble was formed, pierce it needle and at once iron rag.
7. Separate film from paper from one edge approximately on 10 cm. Apply sticky surface to furniture. Take dry soft rag in one hand and, holding with other hand roll, smooth self-bonding with "fir-tree" from the middle to edges. Pull roll down and distil air and water droplets from under film. If the fold was formed, carefully pull for the next edge and, having unstuck it, smooth surface.
8. Thus paste all found film parts on furniture. In use wash the become soiled furniture soft rag and cleaning agent. It is impossible to use what can scratch the surface covered with film.
